This was always my favorite place to eat , especially when it came to fried chicken. The food quality seems to keep going down and always taste old. The sides are usually the most disappointing. Our “large” sizes are equivalent to the McDonald’s kid’s fries. I have had issues the past few times I have been here , but my most recent visit was beyond horrible. The food tastes old and lacks the “churches” flavor. They e... View all feedback.
What Jaleel Tillman doesn't like about Church's Texas Chicken:
My experience at the Andrew's Highway location was definitely a mixed bag. Unfortunately, this time it was a miss. The gravy was watery, and the okra was cold and tough, making it inedible. View all feedback.
Huhn was very dry, maybe sitting one. did not get our okra. jalapeno bombers were really good today, they were not hollow as before. delivery orders must be fresh, not only for getting rid of older boiled huh. the prices are higher so that the food should be as fresh as possible.
I visited the restaurant today, and everything was wonderful until I reached the pickup window. The girl seemed rushed and told me to park out front because my order wasn't ready. I ended up waiting for 15 minutes, and when she finally brought my food, she almost dropped it into my car because she handed it to me rather carelessly.
That was the worst experience I ever had in a church. when we went through the drive thru, it took forever to get to the point where they took our order. when we then ordered a delicate combination, they were offered from spicy and from cookies. for the keks no substitution was made so that I shortened a part of the meal. then, when we got that, the okra was old and the heavy was only water. we found out that they had not given us any utensils to eat our diverse portions of kartoffels, so I tried to go inside to grab some, but the door was closed. then I called the restaurant to see if they could get me something out and they hung up the phone four times. I finally gave up. So I had to drive an hour to the house to eat my cold food that was sub par to start with it. never again at this place.
I loved the chicken of the church, but now they have never cooked children and the staff cannot even be a simple order. I tried them all over the past year and they're all the same bad.
