Tucked away just off Piazza Carducci a great place for coffee and cake with outside seating you may have to wait though as it's tiny and busy
Cozy and relaxing atmosphere in the heart of Treviso. Good for breakfast (try the tasteful croissants), quick lunch and for sure excellent location for an evening “aperitivo”. Not to be missed the wine selection and the home made cocktails. Definitely recommended!
Before sitting there I read the reviews but, asking directly to the waiter, I in some way felt we could trust them. And we've done well. Service quick, nice staff, good relationship with the owner, very good food and fresh wine and beer. 2 kids and two adults. See the bill. If you have the patience to wait a little bit if the place would be crowded, you'll not be disappointed.
A great place to have drinks with staff that try to explain the wines/drinks in English. Reasonably priced wines and grappa. Outdoor tables are right next to the old 'lodge ' structure built originally for knights from where this presumably gets its name. We were there on a warm summer night after midnight.
It just looked like a nice place to stop for a coffee and snack, and it was. Lovely atmosphere, good service and reasonably priced. Well worth stopping at.
