SUBSTANTIAL FINE CUISINE We've been returning to Gellius Restaurant for years, and each time we find it reassuring. The cuisine is classy, precise, and distinctive. The open kitchen produces masterfully crafted masterpieces. The service is friendly and never intrusive, and the wine selection by the glass is consistent with the dishes. We were won over by the carpione sea bass, the tagliatelle with cavolo nero and hare, the spaghetti alla chitarra with truffle, and above all, the pigeon, which alone is worth the trip. The flavors are international yet firmly rooted in the region. The bill is substantial but absolutely in line with the offerings. The Michelin star is certainly no accident.
Very good and well-prepared dishes. The location is charming and the service is very friendly. I have one complaint, however, because one of my plates arrived with a hair in it. I fully understand that these accidents can happen, but at a restaurant like this, these incidents are particularly annoying. Overall, a great experience.
