The poussin danoise was a bit of an underwhelming experience. We also had the koldskål. It was clearly an elegant and tasty interpretation of the Danish classic. But in general the portions were small. The complimentary bread and butter were good. So it is a bit pricey, but it 's also good, and we had a good evening.
Cute and family oriented. Clean rooms. Very slow waiters. A classic Kro, on historical grounds. Had hanged meet in a meet cupboard by the bar, interesting. Beach not inviting.
We had heard alot good (and bit bad) about this place, but must say everything was super good. Brilliant and tasty food, nice wine and good service. Pricey yes, but worth it. Can only recommend this place!
In all honesty we never made it into the place. We made a booking in October for our anniversary in December. At the time they indicated they were open and we checked on their website. When we showed up everything was closed. Fortunately, Norsminde Fiskehus was open and they saved the day with good food, friendly service and cosy atmosphere. My parents live in Norsminde and this is my second bad experience with Norsminde Kro and we will never ever try to go again. They cannot even bother to cancel the reservations when they choose to close the restaurants.
The food there is incredible they serve lots of amazing fish dishes and the chefs are incredibly well trained. The service is also amazing as you get water free and bottomless (rare in Denmark) as well as warm bread with butter free. Their wine menu is also wonderful, as they have a speciality wine cellar. It's on the pricier side so i'd recommend it more for special occasions.
