My husband and I visit Tacos Tequila every Tuesday, and sometimes we drop by a few other nights during the week. The taco and margarita specials on Tuesdays are unbeatable. You can grab a street taco for $3 or a supreme taco for $3.50. Margaritas are just $5 and are generously poured! My favorite is the birria tacos, but there are plenty of options, and you can't go wrong with any of them! Their house salsa is fantastic, but the avocado salsa is the best I’ve ever tasted—just be warned, it’s SPICY! While the tacos are incredibly delicious, my top pick on the menu is the casa special. It’s packed with flavor and is a classic Mexican dish you won't regret trying. Great deals, excellent service, and mouthwatering food!

We arrived on a Friday night around 6:30 and were seated promptly. They have a lovely patio for outdoor dining, but we chose to sit inside. Our waitress quickly took our drink orders and suggested a few options. We went with the skinny margarita, which was fantastic! For our main courses, we ordered garlic shrimp and birria tacos. Both dishes were incredible! The beef in the tacos was tender and packed with flavor, and the consommé was outstanding. I’ve had birria tacos before, and sometimes the beef can be tough or too salty, but they’ve struck a perfect balance of flavors here! We will definitely be back!

I live around here and never saw it however it had been a couples month ago with a new ownership .. the service, food and drinks were yummy however the was a little high but I have to say the portion was generous. They are kno... read more The ambiance in the restaurant is great. They have traditional Mexican music playing and the decor makes you feel that you are south of the border. They are known for their great margaritas and I certainly enjoyed the blue margarita! For lunch i ordered the burrito clasico (w/ ground beef). I really enjoyed the burrito. The house hot sauce is great but not super hot. The others in my group enjoyed their food too. We have a favorite Mexican restaurant in the area but this place ranks up there! Service was a little slow but everything else was great.

There isn't much Mexican to be found yet in Horizon West, and this wasn't too far of a drive and offered takeout! I ordered the birria tacos and their queso dip with chorizo. The queso was good value and came with so many chips! They even packed up the table chips and salsa and included them in my to go order, which I appreciated! The queso wasn't my all time favorite but certainly did the job and was tasty. The birria tacos also hit the spot! The shells weren't quite as crunchy (perhaps because of takeout) as other options I've had, but the flavor was great and they gave me plenty of salsa and consommé to dip in. A filling meal when I needed it! I'd come back to dine in for sure.
