Car Wash - Ocoee
Car Wash
Description
Pio Pio serves authentic, flavorful Peruvian fare—grilled chicken, empanadas, seafood and steaks—in a clean, compact dining room. Service is generally friendly and efficient, with takeout, delivery and signature table sauces. Generous portions and bold flavors make it a reliable lunch spot. Expect limited menu options, slightly higher prices, and tight, sometimes noisy seating; occasional order or service lapses have been reported. Located in a Publix shopping plaza, it’s a convenient choice for a quick, tasty meal.

I spoke with Beto, a Colombian server, who reassured me once again that the manager would call me back regarding a refund. This takeout was done earlier this week. We were misleadingly told that a manager would reach out to us, but that never happened. Unfortunately, the order for a chicken and a half was incorrect, as we received the wrong pieces.
My husband and I went there for dinner and found the restaurant completely empty. He ordered a churrasco steak, while I opted for shrimp. The food arrived hot except for the steak. My husband took a bite of the steak, immediately spat it out, and informed the waiter that it was cold. To our surprise, the waiter returned with the exact same steak! I asked him if it was indeed the same piece, including the small bit my husband had just discarded, and he confirmed it was. When I inquired if he was aware of the COVID situation, he acknowledged it but claimed it was fine because the stove was out. Needless to say, we decided to leave. Oh, and by the way, the steak wasn’t churrasco; it was palomia.
I enjoyed lunch at Pio Pio, and it was excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant itself was lovely—clean and well-kept. I had the quarter chicken served with beans, rice, and fried plantains, and everything was delicious. The food was high-quality and packed with flavor. Overall, it was a great meal, and I highly recommend Pio Pio.
Have eaten here previously, still as good but now with a new and improved menu. Service was, as before, excellent. Prices seemed a little higher but that’s the same everywhere. We had steaks, snapper, and coconut shrimps washed down with sangria.
Authentic Peruvian food and affordable too! Whether it's lunch or dinner, this place has never disappointed. Good portions and flavor. I recommend the grilled chicken with onions and the sweet plantains! If you are really hungry, the empenadas are great too. Be sure to try the 2 sauces they make for the table. Service is usually pretty good and a great lunch spot for those with not a lot of time.
