Interesting menu and food tasted delicious BUT such a shame that our 3 fish pies were only lukewarm ...a little concerning for a reheated seafood dish. They took them back and microwaved them warmer but still not piping hot. Would've been 5 stars had the food been reheated to optimum temperature.

Hake supreme cooked beautifully with great flavour deserves a particular mention but all dishes really well flavoured and executed. Only 4 starts because I really missed the table service… the food is sensational, it’s just a shame to miss the personal touch of a waiter or waitress. Thank you for a lovely evening

It’s a fantastic place, with a wonderful landlord. I’ve visited several times over the past few years, and it hasn’t lost its charm. I haven’t tried the food, so I can’t give a rating for that, but it certainly looked appealing. Overall, I’d rate the service at 4 and the atmosphere at 4.
