The option to either choose something from the menu or create my own custom pizza is fantastic. I've never had a dish I didn't enjoy; the pizzas are prepared quickly, and who wouldn't want to dine with a view of the Oceanside pier and a beautiful sunset? Masks are required, but you can choose to eat in. You place all your orders at the front register. While they don't offer fountain drinks, there's a great selection of beverages, including beer and wine, and even ice cream! Just make sure to grab your drinks before you order, so you don't have to navigate back through the line afterward. I’ve never really experienced a long wait—orders and pizzas come out quickly, and how fast you eat it is entirely up to you (I can't help but devour it quickly because it’s so delicious!). One last thing: ZigZag shares an entrance with the hotel, so if you need to use the restroom, you'll have to exit through the inner door and follow the hallway to the hotel bathrooms. It's super easy—just place your order, find a table, and then head to the restroom if needed. Just wanted to give you a little heads up. Enjoy your visit!

Not sure if they got that we just wanted a quick bite. the zigzag definitely applies as someone was constantly smoking outside lol.. it was a good pizza, nothing out of the ordinary... we were there for the pier so parking was ample just outside the restaurant. might be a nice place to sit down for a while and enjoy their selection of beers.

However, I noticed this sign, which is hung at hip-height in a kind of inconspicuous place, saying that they?re adding a 4% surcharge to cover rising costs, basically. I haveabsolutely no problem with paying 4% more for the meal, I understand that this is happening across the board in 2022 and I don?tbegrudge them for raising prices to keep up. They have staff, overhead, ingredients, etc., I know they need to make money, andthat?s fine. But instead of just including the 4% increase into their actual menu prices, they added this surcharge which is aseparate line-item on the receipt, as if it?s an actual product you purchased. This is sneaky and misleading. Its not the costitself that irks me, it?s the way they?re trying to hide it. Be honest, be upfront, people aren?t going to stop eating yourdelicious pizza for another 50¢, but it?s just? sneaky. List your actual prices, just like every other ethical business does.
