Sushi N Joy - Oceanside

SECURITY!!! Best sushi place ever in terms of very high quality sushi to a value that does not belong. I didn't find a place that even comes close. Please help Steve reopen through donations on the gofundme page! These are photos of my takeout order from my last visit in August 2020.

Honestly, one of the best sushi experiences I've ever had. They are fish and spices are amazing, no need for soya at all. After our first round of nigiri, the waitress asked if we want something nice on the house (natural), and then continue to bring us 2 free shells! Steve is an amazing cook, you can ask him to do everything, and he will create incredible. The way they presented their sashimi and nigiri was great, 2 pieces accompanied with additional small tid bits. Steve continued to fill our boxes without asking with a smile. You sure made a long customer. I regret not to make any more pictures, I have made my experience too much fun!

Best sushi hands down. No one beats this local small shop for freshness and quality.

Sushi and Joy are by far the best sushi I have eaten. Always. The quality of the fish is excellent and Steve is proud of what it delivers. Each role has excellent aromas. I drive over 45 minutes, past a ton of sushi places to go especially to sushi and joy because of their amazing sushi.

The sushi here is really fresh and delicious. Order some Sapporo and saki and have fun with some unique rolls on the menu. You should def try, like the heart attack roll . You should also get the sear albacore tuna. This is the second time I have been here while visiting the west coast and I will definitely come here the next time I 'm here again. It 's excellent!
