In terms of San Diego years we are new to the area , having lived in SD county for the last 10 years we know what good Mexican food is. During the last year of living in North Valley, my wife I, have slowly explored the abundance of Mexican foodrestaurants in our radi south of the base. We came into the doors of Pollos Marias because of a recommendation from afriend. My wife I each ordered what can be considered a basic menu item, Cheese Enchiladas Carne Asada Plate with a sideof Adobada Tacos, respectively. The food was disappointing in all accords. To start, the cheese inside the enchiladas wasn 'teven melted. Its fine if you put in a microwave before you hand it to the customer but don 't give the customer with the cheesecold not melted. The sauce on the enchiladas wasn 't warmed up prior tasted sour not spicy or tomatillo flavor like itshould. Make note we came in on a Tuesday as every San Diegan should know, Tuesday is for Tacos .......... enter Carne AsadaPlate. *sigh* Enjoy your Carne Asada Plate how you like, but when you get Tortillas on the side with Adobada Tacos eat Tacos. The meat on both the Adobada Carne Asada both tasted like they has been siting there for days. Not only was the meat dry forboth the Steak Pork dry but the tortillas it was served on had so much oil on them one couldn 't form a taco. The one positive the Lemonade we ordered was the best thing we had in the whole meal. Rice Beans don 't even reach mediocracy Save your time most importantly our money don 't go here if you 're looking for Mexican food that 's actually good.

Happily walked in today and ordered an enchilada plate. The girl at the counter with glasses and tattoos on her chest clearly does not care about working there. The enchilada plate with red sauce had barely no flavor and very bland. I never leave reviewsbut i felt robbed of my money on top of the bad service.
