The food is fantastic, and the owner is wonderful as well. However, the prices are a bit higher than average. It's a good idea to call ahead before visiting, as their listed opening time is 8 AM, but it's wise to confirm if they're actually open. Also, they sometimes don't have salsa ready, which can be a bit inconvenient, especially since the salsa bar is small and service can take a while. On the bright side, their... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Los Amigos:
We stopped there on our way home for dinner, and I ordered an al pastor torta, which turned out to be really disappointing. The meat resembled red asada and didn't have the flavor of al pastor at all. The bread was soggy and wet, making the torta unappetizing. We also ordered a carne asada burrito with shrimp, and that was also subpar. The shrimp were undercooked and had a greenish tint. Overall, it was not a good ex... View all feedback.

On the bright side, their carne asada fries are delicious! I highly recommend them, and at the time of writing, an order costs $16.
I had the best cheese enchiladas at this restaurant; the sauce was perfect! I used to go to my usual spot in Oceanside, but now I’ll definitely be ordering my enchiladas and chilaquiles here again. Thank you, Julio and Najhmi!

I'm sorry, but that's not worth the money. I just can't justify spending $17 and change (front tip) for taqueria lunch without drink. bor, rice, tortillas and stale w/average mol can not make more than $2-3. not surprised that it was not overcrowded.
Pozole, menudo are super authentic and delicious. Store owner is super nice and helpful. Small little business but for sure has really good food.
