Del Taco - Oceanside

Food cold, I was the only customer there no one even in the drive thru. 6 employees standing around they could make fresh hot food (fries especially)

Food was as expected. I mean, it's Del Taco. The place was dirty though. No clean tables. It wasn't clean by the drink dispenser. Just not very appealing.

The food was consistent, and tasted okay. The wait time in the drive through was longer than average, and even when I got up.to the window I waited another 4 minutes. The cashier almost forgot my burritos. I believe that they need more staff. Everything else was fine.

Staff was horrendous. Took the order no problem. But when we pulled up no greeting of any kind. The said a total of 4 words to me. Did asked if I wanted hot sauce or give napkins. Worst experience in the last 29 years coming here.

Aug 5, 2022 I have always loved Del Taco. I moved to the East Coast and miss it so much. I would never eat at Taco Bell which is what we have in PA. Del Taco just tastes fresher and their beans are A-1. That said, I was very disappointed in this Del Taco after arriving in So Cal for the weekend. I could hardly wait to have a green burrito and fries. I looked forward to it all day. If you read my other reviews, you'll notice I mention cleanliness a LOT. Well I was floored by how dirty it was inside and outside this restaurant. Food all over the floor, dirty napkins, etc. The tables were filthy. Behind the counter I noticed an entire crew of young men, most likely high schoolers. The one who took my order was friendly enough. Gloves worn by all but no hair nets I'm sight; the young man who made my burrito had longer curly hair and did not wear a hair net. He squirted sour cream on the burrito and threw the bottle in the corner when it was empty. There was a bucket with what looked like a plastic bag in it and a dirty spoon just sitting on the counter. I saw people coming through the drive thru waiting unacceptable amounts of time, 10-15 mins. The food was so-so. The burrito was okay but I had to fight to keep it together at the bottom, and the fries were cold. One of the first times I've been that disappointed in Del Taco. I understand it's difficult to hire right now, but the owner needs to do some housekeeping and lay down some ground rules here. This place is a hot mess.
