Contribute Feedback What Karen L doesn't like about Aldi:
We have an Aldi in NC and I love it. Staff here needs to work on being friendlier. They don't have a large selection but I found what I needed. It was not that crowded and I wonder if it will last. Good luck. July 2023 View all feedback.
This store is quite good but limited in grocery items. I like the milk, orange juice, lemonade, cookies, fruits and vegetables and smoked salmon here. They need more space for a fish counter as I don't eat meats nor processed foods. A barkery and coffee would be nice also. There seems to be space in the building but it's closed unless they use it for storage. I don't like how the cashier switches the carriages at check out when I had already cleaned the handle of the cart as I come into the store. That has to stop. The clerks said it was to speed out the check out. No, not this way.A lot of customers leave unwanted items throughout the store that has to be constantly monitored and returned to it's proper location, especially refrigerated or frozen items.Hours are convenient and so is parking. Whenever I went to Denmark the Quickly stores have the same set up as Aldi's with carts and their deposit boxes, soft goods aisles. Need other brands of ice cream in the freezer and non aspartame water sodas too.

Always like theeur specuals and they have good prices. Nit a ssuoer busy store.
It's a love/hate relationship for me, given the barebones approach, meaning no friendly/helpful employees/zero customer service...so just be prepared to fend for yourself, including bagging your own stuff. Also, since the pandemic era of supply chain issues, there are a lot of things missing on the shelves. What used to be a bounty of reasonable quality, lower-priced knockoffs of major brands has turned into a futile shopping trip where you're lucky if they have much anymore that you came to appreciate. It's pretty bare these days. And stuff they advertise in their weekly flyers are usually NOT in stock. There's also many items without any pricing at all, so I don't bother trying to find someone there who doesn't want to be bothered to look it up. Employees are generally unfriendly, and seldom helpful. Feels like there's no onsite manager running things here. I think they'll probably go out of business in five years unless they sharpen their focus and figure out how to keep inventoryTip: Be sure to bring a quarter (refundable) with you, in order to get a shopping basket, and don't forget bags.
Don't expect a large selection of food here... not too many people shopping here.. because there's Not too much stuff to buy here. This is Not like Food for Less.
