Bagby Beer Company - Oceanside

Went for a birthday get together. Set outside in a nice large private party area. Bar was right there for beer and wine also. Wait people were very attentive. Food was good. We had a Mexican style buffet. Other food choices available. There was a was a large crowd in the area, but because they were spread out it didn 't seem so. Lots of drink choices. Is not a dress up kind of place. More of an old west saloon. A fun go meet your friends type of place.

We were everywhere and turned around because it looked inviting. Dande, what a jewel! Your life goal as a customer food is great service, good beer and high quality food....goal met! Great owners, food, beer, service and ambience! We're coming back! Short rib and burgers were great. She tended to our children like her own!

This place is such a cool place in downtown Oceanside. We often take our children here, and our 3 years old often asks to go because he is their “Little Bees”, menu, especially the Cheeseburger (it is delicious)! Great place if you have kids because they have plenty of space to run. The beer is good, everything I tried is great, and the owners are gracious hosts. Bonus... You have an indoor bike parking space so you don't have to worry about your two wheels.

Nice spot with a good beer selection. It's within walking distance of other bars and restaurants. The only thing I don't like is that they cannot take your order while your seated so you either have to order from the app or get up and directly place anorder at the bar. So if you need a to-go box after your meal (or anything else while you're eating) you need to walk up, wait atthe bar, and directly ask for it while everyone looks at you. Other than that though, it's a spot worth visiting and the staffis friendly.

Spacious brewery with an impressive selection of beers and a tasty menu. The beer is really the star of the show here. Most of their many many beers can be ordered as a tiny taster, a half hour, a full pour, and in some cases, a boot! I had 3 half pours(the wEYEssbier, the worker bee, and the three beagles brown), all of which were great. For my meal, I ordered Saucy Frites tostart, which came with fried cheese curds in a rich mushroom and rosemary gravy. I followed that up with their chicken andbiscuits and yet more fries. Everything was good, but I felt both the Frites and chicken biscuits needed something to kick theirflavors up a notch. I found myself looking for some heat or sweetness from the chicken, and some sharpness from the Frites. Iwill go back here if I am looking to drink a lot of really good, varied beers, and it seems like a great spot to drink withfriends!
