A Message from the Owners of Lagniappe. Welcome to Lagniappe Restaurant Catering, the home of special-event and 'occasional ' dining. We have a unique perspective on food and wine: we operate Lagniappe as a labor of love, as a hobby. We are employed full time in other professions (Patsy is a naval-engineering consultant and John is a college professor). <br/ <br/ In addition to traditional catering both on- and off-site, we offer special events that are available only by invitation. The good news is that ANYONE can receive an invitation! This is what we call 'occasional dining. '<br/ <br/ Our most popular events are our Sunday champagne brunches, customer-appreciation nights that include complimentary appetizers, and occasional wine tastings.<br/ <br/ If YOU want your own invitation to our events, please visit our website (listed here on Urban Spoon) and request to receive our free 'Emenu. ' That way, anytime we are open to the public you 'll get your very own personal invitation. Reservations are always highly recommended because we fill up quickly. Don 't be left out! I ate here on numerous occasions while traveling for work. The food was delicious, and clearly prepared with great attention and love. The layout is cozy, but without being cramped or uncomfortable. Parking can come at a premium for larger gatherings, but if you're looking for a nice meal for two, I highly recommend it.

One of my favorite places for years but unfortunately they have finally closed. We'll miss you.

They are only open for special holidays but the food is always fantastic.
