Kyoto Japanese Cuisine - Ocean Springs

Been there several times. Always eat dine in for the sushi, soup, spring roles. Great service always by Sandy David. Clean, good food, great service, ambiance. I've eaten at most, if not all of the sushi restaurants in OS, but Kyoto is #1 in my opinion.

After my first experience I had at this restaurant I had left a review with things that could improve. Kyoto took the time to reach out to me and invited me back promising the second time around would be a much better experience. Tuyen was absolutely right. This was a complete turn around, the service provided was AWESOME. My drink would never go below 1/2 cup and the empty soup bowls and salad bowls were removed from out table right away. We both had steak and shrimp for a meal. What great taste! Probably one of the best I've had. Hibachi is fun when your chef is entertaining. Ours did a great job. He also kept asking how the food was. That shows he truly cares. I will definitely be back! There are several hibachi places along the coast but I definitely recommend Kyoto! Thank you Tuyen and crew for keeping that promise

I eat there so much the waitresses know my orders. I Love the food, service surroundings. I decided to try something different.. BAD MISTAKE... I got the Fried Soft shell crabs. They looked Yummmmmy. My first bite was disappointing!!! They looked plump delicious. NOT!!! More batter than crab. The crabs looked like all the meat was removed the outside skin was the only thing fried in the batter. I'm a Coastal Biloxi Girl, know my seafood well. Eaten too many fried soft shells to say the above. Yes I will go back again and again. Just not gonna order that again!!

This is one of our favorite places to eat! The staff is always so amazing and makes us laugh, my 7 year old daughter wants to eat here all the time. The food is just as amazing as the staff!!

Hope this place stays open for a long time. Our go-to place for Hibachi and sushi was Wasabi, but this place takes it!
