Cypress Taphouse - Ocean Springs

We spent two nights here, and it was a great decision because the drinks and food were fantastic! Don't miss trying the Sips beer—it's absolutely delicious! The parking lot is spacious, easily fitting 10 RVs without any hassle. The general manager, Greg, and all the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. There's also a dog-friendly game area with plenty of free games to enjoy. I highly recommend this place!

The Cypress Taphouse offers a welcoming, laid-back, and entertaining atmosphere! It will soon be acquiring its liquor license, which means it will be adding more drink options beyond just beer. A food menu is also in development. Currently, there are 24 craft beers on tap, along with a selection of domestic and imported bottled beers chilling on ice! For those who prefer non-alcoholic options, soft drinks and water are available as well. We had a great time on Saturday afternoon! We met some wonderful people, especially the owners, Summer and Keith!

This is a beautiful restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere, an extensive selection of beers, and delicious food. The staff is exceptional, and the live music adds to the experience perfectly. I highly recommend it!

I decided to try the Alfredo (without meat) along with a side of green beans, and both were outstanding with the perfect portion sizes. My husband ordered the blackened redfish with an extra side of crawfish cream sauce, along with potatoes and green beans, and he cleaned his plate—everything was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. As for the downsides, they are minor and mostly come down to personal preference, which is why I won’t let them affect my rating. We usually prefer quieter, more intimate settings, and being a bar, I didn’t expect that here. When we arrived, we weren’t sure whether to wait to be seated or seat ourselves, and the music was quite loud. However, once we sat down, our server informed us that it typically isn't that loud; they were hosting a large private group who was just having a great time. I would never fault a restaurant for providing excellent food and service that accommodates groups enjoying themselves. Once our server closed the double doors, the noise level became manageable, and we were able to enjoy our dinner date in peace. Next time, we’ll just make sure to arrive a bit earlier—problem solved! I highly recommend giving this place a try. I’m so glad we did!
