Cheryl's Steak House - Ocean Springs

Just a little mom and pop building. Do not let that fool you! The steak was just right, medium rare. The drink comes out in a quart mason jar. They make the thousand island and other dressings homemade. Very tasty! Nice people, down home feel. No aires. Just great food with a smile. We loved it.

Small cozy steakhouse recommended by the locals when I asked where to get a steak. Highly recommend, I had the shrimp app, hand cut ribeye with green beans and sautéed onions. Shrimp are grilled to perfection and bursting with flavor. Steak was cooked perfectly and the onions were a perfect topper. Green beans were good but a little different seasoning I was used to. Highly recommend, if passing through again will definitely eat here again.

This is my first time being here and let me tell ya… hands down the best steak I have ever eaten. Not one moment where I felt like I needed any steak sauce. And I hope you don’t need any steak sauce for your steak because there is a big ole sign that says NO A1 or Heinz 57.?… The rub Cheryl uses for her steaks here is delicious! By the way, Cheryl is super nice. Brandee was our server and she is extremely generous. Excellent service! Thank you all for having us. I will be back!

Food and service was incredible. The physical menu could use some work. Maybe some better descriptions on the non-steak meals like the shrimp dish. Shrimp were more like popcorn shrimp we assumed they would be big skewered jumbos at a steakhouse. Don’t miss the desert. We had Lemon cake that was fluffy and not overly sweet. It was perfect. Parking: Big parking lot. Way better than searching for a spot downtown!
