Ocean Delight Chinese - Ocean Grove

The service was excellent and the meals were amazing. This was the best Chinese food I have had in a long time. I highly recommend the Szechuan chicken for those who enjoy a bit of seasoning. The quality of the food was outstanding and it was cooked perfectly.

After giving this restaurant a second chance following a disappointing initial food experience, we were still unimpressed during our return visit. The texture of the dishes was subpar and the flavors were mediocre. I recommend exploring other Chinese dining options in the area.

The food at this restaurant was terrible. The sweet and sour sauce was overly thick and lacked any discernible flavor. The meat dishes were made with low-quality cuts that were tough to chew and difficult to identify.

I've been holidaying in Ocean Grove since the 1970's. Tonight is the first time I've ordered meals from Ocean Delight Chinese Restaurant. In the past we always bought our takeaway Chinese from the competitor's in the centre of town.Wow! The food is amazing. I ordered chicken vegies with satay sauce for myself and my husband had battered chicken strips with sweet sour sauce. We shared a large fried rice.The vegetables in my meal were cooked to perfection and the chicken was actual breast pieces. The satay sauce was just right. Altogether, the flavours and textures were amazing.My husband's meal consisted of a generous amount of juicy chicken breast pieces in golden fried batter and a flavoursome thick sauce.The fried rice was perfectly cooked and not at all dry.I noticed when I went to pick up our order that this restaurant has a large dine-in area which was beautifully presented. I thought at the time that it would be the perfect venue for a private function if the occasion ever arises.I will certainly be ordering from this restaurant again on our next visit to OG and wemight just dine innext time.Thank you to the friendly young female who took my order.
