This place is located directly at a port. Parking can be a problem at times, depending on when you go. The Brussels, roasted green tomatoes, maize and steamed shrimp were all really good. The menu can change daily. I got the flounder pack with fries. The pack was decent, but the pommes were cold. That was a damper on my experience. My main court was fine. We've been here for many years. Without a doubt, I can say that our dinner experiences were much better than lunch. Your lunch options are fine, but I had a few things that were overcooked or just plain glands. I would never order the fried chicken sandwich again because I tried it, it was so boiled. Some of their menu elements do not seem to change often, while others seem to change more frequently, usually their main entrees. Overall we were very happy with the dinner there and some areas of the restaurant have a water view. This summer we saw this boatload of horseshoe crabs that were used to make vaccines and then they returned to the water. So it was cool to watch and read during lunch. I would never do that? ve knew that was one thing if I didn't sit in this restaurant watching her load her.
Have a birthday dinner here for my wife with my mother and continue in the law during our vacation. I had the swordfish and it was excellent. Some of the best popcorn shrimp I've ever had. The service was by far the best? ve ever had. Kaitlyn was our server and she went out of her way to make dinner for my wife for my birthday. My father in law is vegan and has the vegan duck and said it was the best he ever had. Would definitely recommend 10 times.
Nice time! They were busy and we had to eat at the bar that wasn't so bad. The parking lot was decent and the view was nice. Food was good, everything seemed fresh, but we had some nicer experiences in other local restaurants.

A lot of local OC residents recommended Shark on the Harbor so our expectations were already high? even so, everything about our experience completely blew us away. The staff (friendly and accommodating), the service (prompt without being overbearing), THE FOOD? OUTSTANDING. I appreciate that the menu sites the local vendors who provide the elements of the dishes. I LOVE that the menu is tailored to what seafood was caught THAT DAY. And I was completely blown away by not just the quality of the food itself, which was exquisite, but also by how intricately balanced each dish was in its seasoning and accompanying components. I have traveled across nearly 40 US states and enjoyed fine and casual dining in each location; I can easily place Shark on the Harbor in my top 3 all time favorite, if not #1. Exceptional quality, expertly prepared, lovely atmosphere. Thank you we can?t wait to come back!
