The Original Crabcake Factory

I come to Ocean City almost every year, for the last 5 or 6 years I’ve been wanting to stop by but haven’t had the opportunity to. Today I got my opportunity! My husband and I ordered two ‘Quadruple Threat’ **** Mary’s the crab dip bread bowl. It was by far THE BEST **** Mary that I have had! Literally a meal in itself! The presentation was exquisite, service was speedy friendly. They do not disappoint on the amount of Jumbo Lump crab, shrimp, bacon soft shell crab is on top of that! The signs around the restaurant really cracked me up! Haha! Love the owner’s comments in these reviews!

Everything else was closed on the Island due to the snow. We were told by the locals that Crabcake Factory was open. We took a chance and am so glad we did! Although super short staffed and crazy packed, the waitress was super on it. The food...omg...I have never been treated to lumps that big and I live in SOMD near tons of seafood restaurants. Everything was super tasty and, although expense for some, definitely a good bang for the buck.

The crabcake was so good! No filler and full of sweet moist crab. The wings were out of this world! Big breaded crispy wings and the mambo sauce was insane.

Staff was fantastic! Very welcoming and did great explains everything and pointing is in the direction of their go to favorites ! Crab cake tacos were amazing! Pictured is the crab dip and chips and a frozen berry adult beverage.

We spent a long time picking a place for dinner on our impromptu Ocean City day trip and I'm happy we chose this one. They don't accept reservations but we only waited about 15mins given we went in October. The decor inside is very cute, although it felt a little cramped. They'd have a tough time accommodating larger groups I think. Service was good if on the slow side. Our waitress was nice and answered our questions politely. We ordered hush puppies and crab dip to share. Both were great. For the meal, I chose the brisket sandwich with an upgrade of fries. The fries are fresh and homemade. The sandwich was good overall but I found it to be salty. Others who tried it agreed. The brisket itself is actually super delicious it's moist but be warned, it's fatty (if you dislike fattier cuts). The sauce was great. Mac&cheese is Velveeta based I feel like and it's ok. The crabcake was mostly crab, little too no filler, and great. Do not get the Philly cheesesteak, it's honestly terrible. The fish and chips are good though. Overall, the food was good (save for the cheesesteak), service was fine, and I recommend it.
