Tailchasers Restaurant Dock Bar

This was our first visit, and it definitely won't be our last. From the hostess to the bartender to our waiter, the service was exceptional. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and they even treated our 3-year-old daughter to a complimentary ice cone. The shrimp were fantastic, the oysters were incredibly fresh, and the wings were full of flavor. And we can't forget about the drinks—my orange smash was absolutely delicious, and the woman with me had a Bark of Light, which she described as frosty and crisp, haha. Thank you for a wonderful experience! We originally came looking for a spot where Mom and Dad could enjoy a drink and some snacks while our child played. We had already visited Ropewalk a few weeks ago, and we’re so happy to have discovered Tail-Chasers!

I had a wonderful experience at Tailchasers. I enjoyed a lovely lunch with my husband before heading to the street. The food was outstanding. We kicked off our meal with mussels, oysters, and calamari, all served hot and fresh. Each bite tasted like the ocean. Our waitress was fantastic—she was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent customer service. We dined outside with a pleasant view; it wasn’t too windy, and we were close to the bar. My dirty martini was both delicious and strong. The restaurant itself is quite appealing, family-friendly (complete with a playground), and pet-friendly as well. We can’t wait to return!

The restaurant features an extensive menu, reliable service, and a playground with real sand for kids. You can find a variety of dishes, from Asian cuisine to loaded pulled pork nachos and coastal seafood. Prices are reasonable, and the service was excellent and very accommodating.

My son and I read the reviews and decided to go. So glad we did. We sat outside along the water. The breeze kept us both comfortable and the seat. We had a few drinks that were good, especially the classic orange. My son had pulled the Carolina pork sandwich he said was the best I ever had. I tried and it was good. Logan the server recommended a few dishes, but she loved the Scallop dish. I was skeptical and asked what the portion size would be. She said 8 ounces, so I went for it. The Scallop dishes consisted of mushrooms, cuddly geese, asparagus, cucumbers and 5 delicious scallops. I am usually disappointed when I order Scallops(small portions). This is the best scallop dish I ever had and one of the best meals I had in OC during my 25 years visit. Thank you. Logan for your service and your recommendation: . We loved eating at Tailchasers. Food was delicious, ambiance was great and staff was very good and courteous. We went twice because my daughter loved the pulled pork sandwich and she is a picky eater so it was a no brained. Inside It's cute and quaint and outside is very nice with an area for kids to play while parents enjoy the views. We'll come back to O.C. and eat at Tailchasers.???
