Skye Bar Grille - Ocean City

Got to ocean city super late (after 10 am) and still needed dinner. Most places were used or fast food, but then I found Skye Bar! Bonus points it had a lounge feeling / after dinner drinks and great music to vibe also in the open air of its roof terrace. The food was spectacular and fresh. The place seemed relatively busy with many people still order, but we received our food relatively fast. It was very impressed by this place, food and atmosphere.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Ordered the Jumbo Shrine, the crab was filled. $32 for 3 shrimps that were dry and lack of taste. With one side of broccoli and mash potatoes (the disgusting broccoli not even butter and salt, only steamed simple broccoli and mae potatoes were tasteless and looked like they were sitting in a pot on the stove all day. Waitress was nice and apologise, but never gave a discount or offered to remove meal. The drink was good, but $11 for cocktail was little steep. Has potential with its cool atmosphere on the roof, but they need to rent a new chef and get better managers.

Very small part for very high price. Ordnete meerrot tuna. came with tuna, asparagus and rice. Tuna had not much taste, asparagus and rice had absolutely no taste, and rice was dry and hard. Just for dinner because I starved. Visiting the state and it was an unpleasant experience. Waitress was okay.

We went happy hour and had amazing service from Peyton. The food was delicious. We had oysters on the half-shell and whole lobsters, which were amazing and so favorable compared to other foods we ate during our stay. We also had the truffle tips that were also excellent. The live music was great and the ambience on the roof that monitored the bay was perfect. We wish we had found it earlier! Very recommended!!

My favorite rooftop and one of the best happy hour spots in Ocean City. They have $1 oysters and lobsters for $25 during happy hour 3-6 PM Monday- Friday. I always order their oyster Rockefeller, wings, orange crushes, and crab dip as well. The place gets packed even during off peak times. Try to come here early in the afternoons on Thursdays and Fridays. The lobster sometimes sell out since their lobster mac is really popular as well. Fun place to enjoy some drinks and food while also catching the sunrise. They have live music and the service here is always on point.
