When we were at Ove this morning, we had a wonderful experience. It has a wonderful atmosphere and service is fantastic, we were served quickly and got our food waiting without long. I ordered a water and I appreciate the size of the cup I got for the water, it was enough to keep throughout the meal. What CAP LOGISTIC ADUANAS SAC doesn't like about Oves:
Always a stop when we’re visiting. The donuts here are the best on the island (that I’ve found to date) always come out warm and delicious. Basic breakfast options and food is pretty good. Would definitely recommend as a breakfast stop. View all feedback.
Had their filled shrimp special, with 5 filled shrimps, a salad and one side. It was delicious! It is inside seating with open walls so think You sit outside without the sun on your face. It is not a beautiful place and has no theme or decorations. But the food was good.
Had an egg sandwich, delicious without being too big. also the best warm chocolate donut I've ever had, far better than Krispy Kreme and even better than duck donuts. great location on the boardwalk at 4th. 06.27.22 update:. Still awesome!
Ove's is widely known for it's donuts and breakfasts which are both delicious. However, dinner is also great, their broiled seafood platters are some of the best. Simple and fresh which let's you enjoy the flavor.
One of the few places in OCNJ to get an open air breakfast overlooking the boardwalk and ocean. Loved my pork roll and cheese omelette! Friendly service.
Breakfast on the 2nd floor is a must. The view from here was spectacular. The line this Saturday morning was virtually non existent. The hostess and wait staff were very pleasant. Our waitress was wearing an Eagles hoodie on this week 2 home opener for the birds. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the quality of breakfast potatoes and scrambled eggs were less than good...not bad...just not 5 stars.
