Higgins South is superior. We've visited both the North and South locations, and found the food at Higgins North to be average. The restaurant itself seems somewhat outdated and could be cleaner. View all feedback.
I visited this restaurant for the first time based on a friend's recommendation. My husband ordered the shrimp tacos, which were drenched in salsa and quite messy to eat. I ordered the soft shell crab sandwich, and it was terrible—there are no words to really describe how bad it was. The only highlight of the meal was the Diet soda.
This restaurant is fantastic! The snow crab legs were cooked perfectly: hot, easy to crack open, and impressively large, bursting with flavor. The clams and mussels were the best I've ever tasted. The service was incredibly quick and efficient.

HIGGINS! My family eagerly anticipates the All You Can Eat Crab experience whenever we vacation in Ocean City, and this is our favorite AYCE restaurant.
