Victorian Room - Ocean City, MD, US

Quaint, quiet, and beautiful. The perfect place for my husband and I to have a date alone on the deck, watching the ocean at golden hour. The menu is small, but elegant. Also, everything is labeled gluten free, which was very helpful for us. The service was friendly and attentive. A bit on the pricier side, but you’re paying for the ambiance, service, and quality. Excellent experience. Will definitely return.

Excellent high quality restaurant. The selections are very good. Steaks, seafood, salads, etc to meet anyone's palette. The appetizers are very tempting but I did not get them. All the prices were very reasonable and much better than the tourist traps up and down Ocean City. It is nice to eat in a restaurant with people not wearing sleeveless t-shirts and inebriated. The wait staff was very attentive.

So disappointed this long standing restaurant is on its way out with the sale of the property. We had many great years enjoying this icon property hoping it will not lose its long standing high marks.

The hotel is beautiful and a great location. The restaurant is less to be desired. We waited forever to get our food and it was not even good eggs cooked wrong and some of it was ice cold. They also forgot to make my son’s meal. The waitress was very unfriendly. When we asked about my son’s food, she said that the cook was making it and it would be done when it was done. I guess you don’t have to be nice when 20% Gratuity is added automatically. She definitely did not deserve that 20%. Worst service ever.

Stayed at Dunes Manor and that is a great hotel, but ate at this restaurant for breakfast before leaving and it was terrible. For one, we waited to be seated for ten minutes while several employees saw us and kept it moving. I ordered eggs and scrapple, where the eggs were slightly overcooked but edible (they're eggs) but the scrape was soggy as hell and disgusting. Waste of money.
