The food and menu have... read more We have been eating here a few times a year for years now. We walk over from Robert Moses and walk back along the ocean under the stars. The food and menu have gotten worse and worse. There are not many vegetarian options anymore. Even the veggie burger was removed from the menu. We ordered edamame. It came out cold so we asked for it to be heated up. It came out cold the second time and we just ate it cold. I asked to order off the kids menu to get grilled cheese but was told I had to order the adult version (I guess that's on the lunch menu because it wasn't on the dinner menu). I didn't have a problem with that. The fries were very good. But the grilled cheese was pressed panini style and was burnt and hard. The service is good and the drinks are good. But the food has been increasingly disappointing each year. I think next time we will just have drinks and pizza when we get to Kismet.

However, when we arrived for dinner on both nights, the restaurant was closed.... read more The restaurant confirmed two Open Table reservations for us two nights in a row. However, when we arrived for dinner on both nights, the restaurant was closed. There was no communication, no call, no text, no email, nothing. It seems that common courtesy and good customer service are no longer priorities for this establishment.

Excellent food, amazing service. The atmosphere is great and even though this restaurant is seasonal, its a great place to go. We loved our dinner. read more Excellent food, amazing service.
