This is a great restaurant! The ambience is beautiful and the service is excellent! We had dinner at the first night to try them for a possible future wedding party. started with cheese fritters that are balls of cheesy goodness! I had the Petite filet and shrimp and my fiancées had the barbeque shrimps and grits. My fillet was perfectly cooked medium and so delicate and tasteful! The shrimps were butterflied with a super light tempura like batter.can They say YUMM! The sides of carrots, green beans and mushrooms were so brilliant! Dinner was served with the creamiest cheeses I've ever eaten, along with a yeast roll, cornbread and a salad before dinner. Ken's meal was just as delicious with the same sides and grilled shrimps served with the creamy corns! You must try the Raspberry Tea!! We had the Pecan tulip that is wonderful and HUGE! It could have been divided between two people and Ken had the buttermilk walnut cake! Wonderful! We loved it so much that we went to eat there the next day! Baked Crispy Chicken south grilled Mozzarella and covered with a piece of buttermilk Walnut Pie and chocolate midnight cake! Everything was so wonderful! Great service again! We can't say enough good things here! This is our new favorite place in Ocala and we will have our wedding party here!!
BEST FOOD EVER!!!. Me, my mom, and my daughters went to the ivy house with high hopes and they employees, food and hospitality exceeded all of my expectations. The service was the best I have had in a very long time, the interactions with the customers and servers was phenomenal. Do not even get me started on how good the food is. The appetizer, main course, and dessert were all out of this world. Seriously words cant even begin to describe how amazing this food is. The prices are extremely reasonable and the decor is to die for. With the restaurant on the first two floors and an amazing spa on the third floor and store on the main floor it will take your breathe away. You will not regret going, I promise. Please go!!!!!!!
Great food, friendly service. Southern charm at its best!
We were driving through Ocala today and at the recommendation of a friend, stopped at the Ivy House for lunch. It’s a good thing this place isn’t closer because I’d be eating there constantly. This is what down home southern food should taste like. We started off with the BBQ shrimp and grits appetizer. I could have eaten two bowls of these grits. They were creamy, cheesy, and perfectly seasoned. The shrimp was nicely cooked with a tangy BBQ sauce. I’m pretty sure we licked the plate clean. For his entree, Loren got the Krispy chicken salad. Perfectly cooked chicken with a tasty ranch dressing. It also came with a roll and cornbread. I ordered the Krispy chicken platter. It came with macaroni cheese, a side salad, veggies, a roll cornbread. I was in heaven. The chicken is drenched in butter and covered in Rice Krispies and baked to a mouthwatering tenderness. The mac cheese was creamy and tasty. Everything on the plate was delicious. We couldn
I Brought my mom for a delicious lunch on her birthday today. I specifically picked the Ivy for the fried green tomatoes on the menu (her favorite) which did not disappoint, the southwest sauce is a great touch. We both enjoyed our lunch, the French dip was flavorful and full of meat and the burger was just as good nice and juicy. I took dessert to go home with me 2 hours back to cocoa beach, I'm was excited to see the whip cream is the real deal seeing as it made the trip back and didn't melt! I'll definitely be sure to try this gem for dinner the next time I'm in town.
