What User doesn't like about Subway:
Rude old man working there who clearly hates his job, was being mean to the young man working behind him telling him to move pans, shaking his head constantly. It was a real toxic workplace environment. He said it was $2 for four strips of bacon on a footlong sub I said can I have a little bit more he said no I'm not the owner and just stared blankly at me. No customer service skills.. I've been going to this Subway for a long time but tonight was very disappointing..
Used a coupon for 3 foot long subs. 2 Steak and Cheese and 1 BMT. Plus additional choices of toppings. The 3 people were totally satisfied with their Subs. We've been going there quite often for a number of years. Never have been disappointed.
This subways right next to my house so we go fairly often but the last two experiences have been outrageous.About a week ago there was a younger,brunette gentleman working and he was making sandwiches so we stood back and waited and after a little while of not being even acknowledged moved up to the counter a bit and said hello and he snapped that he was making online orders so it’d be a while. Okay, that’s fine we stepped back again. Another 5 minutes to by and we decided to get something else, no big deal, he was alone and maybe overwhelmed however simple things like ‘I’m sorry, I’ll be with you in a moment’ would have extended much further.However on 12/15 at around 1:30 pm I just felt downright uncomfortable and unwelcome. I was greeted with “are you getting a cold cut” and everything from there was downhill, the entire interaction was rushed and hostile with two women asking me questions about different sandwiches at the same time, the older one even leaning over to whisper something to her coworker when I got a little jumbled about which version of the steak sandwich I was getting.There wasn’t anybody in line at this point and I just needed a literal second to gather my thoughts as I was getting sandwiches for two other people and I felt like I was absolute inconvenience for wanting to buy a sandwich . At this point, twice.You can absolutely tell the staff doesn’t want to be there however customer service is essential and I won’t be spending anymore money there unless the attitude of the staff improves to at least the bare minimum of not making customers feel like they’re not ruining the staffs day by simply walking up to the counter. Which is a shame because I love subway and the bread at this particular one is always delicious.
I just ordered and when I opened my sandwich there was a glove left inside.
Seeked employment and a few employees felt threatened by my application and couldnt co operate with my availability and even tried lying to me about not being told about time i needed off. That was for my anniversary so yea i know and very vividly remember explaining why and when i couldnt work. Very corrupted general manager bad staff i should know i ran a store by myself in Gainesville......
