The rest... read more From afar, this is the best breakfast and lunch spot in all of Ocala. Unlike many places that rely on heavy fats, the food here is fresh and flavorful. The restaurant is clean, and the service is reminiscent of that warm, classic American mom’s touch. The owner is hands-on and dedicated to running the business with care! While I recommend going there around 3 PM, we’re willing to adjust our schedule just to dine here.

Our group of four enjoyed a meal here on a Tuesday morning in January 2023. We were seated right away, and our drink orders were taken promptly. When we had questions about the menu, our server was friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations. The portion sizes were very generous, and the food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend stopping by for breakfast if you're in the area. We particularly loved the conjured bovine rabbit and biscuits and gravy.

We waited about ten minutes to be seated, which was perfectly fine! However, it took quite a while for our order of a skillet and an omelette to arrive. But once we got our food, it was so delicious that we could easily overlook the slow service. Everything was made with fresh ingredients!

The award-winning toast lived up to its accolades, both in taste and presentation, making for a delightful experience. Additionally, my daughter's plate of crepes was a hit, showcasing the care and quality Scramble puts into each dish. It's clear that this establishment prioritizes both flavor and presentation, making our visit a memorable one. And that coffee so good!
