Panda Express has recently stirred mixed feelings among patrons at its Ocala location. While some diners laud the vibrant, fresh dishes like the honey walnut shrimp and beyond orange chicken, others lament a decline in quality, particularly with chicken dishes that have become overly fatty or poorly prepared. Service experiences vary, with reports of rudeness and incorrect orders dampening the dining atmosphere. Despite the potential for satisfying meals, cleanliness issues and a lack of menu variety leave customers wanting more. Overall, this location seems to be at a crossroads, balancing flavorful offerings with inconsistency in service and food quality.

Rice and lo mein were cold and tasted like dirty foot. Shrimp smelled like old oil. I just bought my food and now I have to starve because of how tragic the cooks prepared this. Unacceptable performance.

Worst panda I have ever been to…. They love to close the doors early. Here it is 8:50 the doors are locked and I’m told they already put all of the food in the trash. Looks like I wont be coming back to this sorry establishment. Management needs to do better this is by far unacceptable.

I went to dinner with three family members and we had a great meal! The decor could use more attention to detail. There were a few questionable pieces of meat in the dishes that should have been discarded. The drink station could have been cleaner, but it was not terrible. The dining area had only a few dirty tables. The service was excellent. I had to request our fortune cookies, but it's understandable that it could be overlooked. Overall, everything was fantastic!

I haven't visited this restaurant in a while, hoping that things might have improved—especially in terms of portion sizes and the Teriyaki chicken not being overcooked to the point of being burnt (charred meat is harmful to health). Unfortunately, nothing has changed! Management, if you truly value your customers, please ensure your employees are properly trained. We're paying premium prices, just like at any other restaurant, for food that is hardly satisfactory. Thank you for addressing this issue.

I'm really happy they brought back the Beyond Orange Chicken. I never got to try it before, but as soon as I learned it was available again, I ordered it. It was absolutely delicious! I also ordered a tropical tea that wasn’t sweet, which was fantastic because most teas are loaded with artificial sugar and become overly sweet. I will definitely return to support them, and I hope they keep it on the menu!
