Applebee's Grill - Ocala

Absolutely terrible customer service! 10 minutes wait to say that they cannot sit our party of 9 because there is another party of 9 before us. We would have to wait 20 minutes if the table is in front to not overwhelm the chefs. we wanted to sit and say we were waiting to order food. we just wanted to sit and say we would just order drinks and wait 20 minutes to order our food. the hostess just went away and told us nothing after that. the restaurant was empty. maybe a total of 5 tables throughout the restaurant. we went out after about 10 minutes, as the host never came back. the other party of 9 had not yet taken place. that was on a Sunday, 3. juli at 17.00.

I recently visited Applebee's with my wife and were treated to a fun filled time, great food, excellent service and we left with a smile!

Okay so a restaurant is a great place to go if your hungry! Welcome to Applebees our waitress is great she was spot on! the seating staff needs to be retrained size matters as we enter the restaurant a warm body as available to seat us but was more interesting in seating us at a high top table after get past the table no we need a booth thing we were presented a booth that space for a very thin family I have visions of riding on a gray hound bus nope not going there so after showing our hostess the error she agreed and reseated I watch this hostess turn away a family because the customer ask for a regular booth or table even though the tables were available three out of five the customers is the whole purpose of the restaurant.

Was the worst experience ever had. Me,my daughter and grandson went there last night on 7/11/2022. Made me and my daughter sick. One person waiting on tables,cooking and running bar. They turned some patrons away. We waited long time. Food was horrible, appetizers were dry, had to send back my dish because it was wrong not what I ordered. Pretty bad when grandson couldn't eat his fries. I've been to Applebee's many times,this was by far worst. Wanted to treat them to a nice supper, what a disappointment that was. When we got home both of us got real sick. As much as I paid for supper what a bad mistake that was.

Come on Applebee's, do better. Empty tables with about 10 parties waiting. Four employees standing around talking. No water/drinks for 40 minutes and meal came before the appetizer (after we asked about it). The Manager did comp the appetizer, but still... do BETTER.
