Was CAP LOGISTIC ADUANAS SAC at Oves a mag?
Always a stop when we’re visiting. The donuts here are the best on the island (that I’ve found to date) always come out warm and delicious. Basic breakfast options and food is pretty good. Would definitely recommend as a breakfast stop. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Tight for strollers but you can park outside and lock up (all visible from restaurant) Parking: Parking isn’t easy and you’re better off biking or... View all feedback.

What Kevin Yu dislikes about Oves:
We stopped for an impromptu breakfast the other week while out on a morning bike ride on the boardwalk. We were seated along the open windows right next to the boardwalk which was the highlight of the meal. The food wasn't terrible, but it wasn't anything special. My wife had pork roll with scrambled eggs, our kid had eggs and bacon, and I had the creamed chipped beef. The scrambled eggs and creamed chipped beef were... View all feedback.

Got a hot dog platter with onion and sweet pepper did not come out with either on it. When I asked the server for them on the side it took so long to come out I was already done with the hot dog. Very upsetting.

We went for lunch expecting their usual great seafood menu…boy were we disappointed. Other than a few shellfish appetizers, no seafood. The fries and onions were so over fried they were inedible. The sandwiches and burgers were subpar and expensive . It must be Nader new mgmt. or the owners no longer care about their once proud history of fab seafood! Wheelchair accessibility: On the board up a steep ramp. Very tight squeeze in and out due to seating!

We went for breakfast. Sat upstairs the food was ok, pricing about the same as other places. The service was terrible. Never asked us if we needed anything, left my plate in middle of table guess its serve yourself. Never asked to refill our coffee. Was a huge chore apparently to get us cream, sugar and ketchup when we asked. Took care of other people getting orders first. Not impressive at all.

Breakfast in the upstairs dining room, sitting at a window table and the breathtaking view of the beach and ocean, was the main reason I drove with a friend to O.C. for the day yesterday! The warm, caring, attentive server who allowed us to sit upstairs a half hour before it was open AND my delicious breakfast, which consisted of a chocolate frosted apple cider donut, coffee, swiss cheese omelet with homefies and rye toast made our visit even more amazing!!!! (The trip was a necessity when I called the day before and found out that the last day that the upstairs dining room would be open for the season was today--Sunday, September 3rd 2023)Thank you, Ove's!See you next Summer!!!
