We stopped by here for a light lunch. They have 2 vegetarian/vegan plates. I ordered sautéed vegetables with mushrooms and flavor was great, but a tad oily. Champagne sangria is recommended as well. Overall a nice place to have meals. View all feedback.

There isn't much choice in Óbidos for dinner, but as a guideline we eat where there's people. Unfortunately in this restaurant they were all tourists and not locals. The menu is pretty standard, nothing special but the kind of food that will feed you and can be done pretty well by any cook. The waiters were nice and trying hard, and we were served at late lunch hours, the only reason for 3 stars. The food was very mediocre. We had dish of the day stewed pork with bad quality fried potatoes and a few overcooked carrots...from frozen carrot bag for 10eur per portion, far too much for the poor quality we got.
Most restaurants in tourist towns can understand English but not this place. Great confusion by the staff. Even tho we prefer to buy from the cabinet to save confusion they kept insisting we order from menu. From other reviews it seems to be hit and...miss here. Food was disappointing also.
We found this place by chance around 9pm. We had tried the restaurant next door - on the street with a ramp and after 10 minutes being completely ignored by waiting staff we got up and went to Lidador. Very happy we did.We got a table and ordered a jug of white sangria - which we finished while waiting for our food. And here is the only problem with Lidador - it seemed that the kitchen was overwhelmed and service was very slow. I mean very slow... it took nearly 1 hour to get our mains, they were good but not worth the wait. Not sure if I would go back.
We meet up with friends and had a lovely meal for 5 for less than €100 including quite a lot of wine! Good food and service on the main street.
Outside space excellent for people-watching; good food at extremely good prices - both for snacks and full meals; pleasant, friendly staff
