Visiting Obidos you'll be happy you made the climb to the wall. This is an enchanting place to have a beer or glass of wine and contemplate the spectacular view...Go ahead and do it you will not be sorry. View all feedback.
As we walked around Obidos... my wife and I got hungry and found a restaurant to have lunch in. We decided we would go for a drink but sit outside and walked until we found this absolute gem! We wish we just ate here instead......not sure how this is not top ten on tripadvisor. It is up against the top of the wall in Obidos... once you are here... you will understand that it is easy to find. you can walk up the streets and dont have to walk on top of the wall to get there) The view is out if this world! We were blown away at how peaceful it is. Very few people passing and a beautiful photo op. We did not eat but they have a large variety of appetizers, sandwiches, salads and snacks. They have beer, wine, shots and cocktails. We had beer and wine. The wine was presented to my wife. The waiter described the grapes and region from which the wine came from as well as the flavor. My questions about the beer were also answered. The waiter was a young man in his early 20s and was extremely kind, friendly and helpful. He spoke multiple languages including English, which made ordering easy. I would return here for a meal or drinks if ever returning to Obidos and encourage anyone to check it out.
A beautiful panoramic view of the entire village and one of the best sunsets I have ever seen. The food is great, the prices are fair. 5 Stars
Best view over Óbidos, best service and friendliest staff! Look for the location closer to the top walls of the castle

Delightful bar and cafe located under shaded trees next to the ancient city wall. Ideal for resting after a long day of sightseeing and for viewing the sunset over the landscape below. Maria Inez was a very friendly and charming hostess.
