Every time we visit Oberstdorf, we visit Wienerwald. I Always orde the "panierte Backhendel" It takes some time to wait for it, but i love it. The restaurant ist still almost full. The staf was again very friendly and we could sit outside on a warm evening. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Wienerwald Oberstdorf:
Das Essen war ganz ok . Meine Frau hat ein halbes Hähnchen gegessen, welches recht gut schmeckte. Meine Hähnchenburger war lieblos auf dem Teller gelegt und das Gemüse separat in einer Schale serviert. Alles im allem war das Essen zu teuer für das was serviert wurde. Für uns hatte der Wienerwald eher einen Pommesbuden Charakter. Schade wir kommen nicht wieder. View all feedback.
Really nice half-huh and chips, cordon bleu, averaged. on what it is, but generally happy, nice waiter. would go back for roasting huh
Been going here for for the last 3 years. Have seen the prices rise and the food quality decrease. 15 Euro for chicken and chips seems to me expensive. The waiter was very nice and the beer garden has a trampoline to keep the kids...occupied.
A large restaurant, also outside in summer. The have nice menu's, mostly of course from chicken. We always visit the Wiener Wald (already exsisting from 1955! for the Backhendel paniert. It are 4 big pieces of chicken, dry paniert and delicious. The preparing of this...menu takes about 30 minutes. Good prices. The styaf is friendly. It is of course not a Top-restaurant, but we will advice to visit it once when you are in Oberstdorf (or in another city .
Had a great time at the Wienerwald on the terrace enjoying the best chicken dinner around! The beer was cold, the food was hot and we were happy!
For more than 8 years!! we always went for dinner, but this time we were really disappointed, chicked was very dry chips/ries were not good at all. we were really surprised why we told and shared our problem. we decided not to visit this time again and also ut it could be because it was not at the weekend that were not so many people in the restaurant, but the take away was pretty busy, maybe we had plucky, but still.
