That was perhaps chaotic in trettachstüble! local and (dry part of) terrace again full as usual! unfortunately it took some time to notice someone from the serv... read more That was perhaps chaotic in trettachstüble! local and (dry part of) terrace again full as usual! unfortunately it took some time to notice someone from the service with us. after approx. 20 minutes we could order our drinks after we found the waiter who was apparently responsible for us. somehow, the narrow brown no longer tastes as excellent as we knew it from the previous years. after further approx. 20 minutes we were able to get rid of our food order: seniorenschnitzel with pommes and wobble pink. the food was brought instantly, we were surprised if the fastness. so fast, no kitchen can prepare a meal. I'd rather let you guess. the shnitzel was very dry and almost un seasoned. after seasoning with salt and pepper it was ok. the berg pommes, however, I managed only to the close half. Why does it always have to be the mountain, especially when it comes to a senior proportion? the swirl roast was probably just as unhurried, the swirling still much too glazed, but the meat was ok. problem was to get rid of our second beverage order. it took a beaten half an hour until someone came to pick up the order of two yeasts. another 20 minutes we had to wait until these were finally brought. the theke would be too slow to conceive, was told us as a reason. also the pay of the bill went so long that we had already taken into consideration to get up and leave it locally. but we are not a zechpreller, and so we waited patiently another 30 minutes until the bill came.

Minus : personnel is very busy with the enormous crowd of visitors and have no time whatsoever to be friendly or provide something more than just dropping the orders on the tables.This place is good to go for a standard lunch/dinner at fair prices. Don't expect any fine dining or exceptional experience though...

Next time we will...take the extra walk and go to Saschas Kachelofen again, to which we have been many times.

I'd rather guess you. the scavenger was very dry and almost un seasoned. after seasoning with salt and pepper it was ok. the mountain pommes, but I managed to get it only to the near half. F... read more We went to Trettachstuble because we were looking for a restaurant nearby in Oberstdorf and saw that it had out of stars on Tripadvisor. But it was very poor. First off the waitress was pushing drinks drinks drinks as soon as we sat...down. We ordered bottled water for all of us (our german wasn't good enough to order tap water) and at the end when we saw the bill we realised the drinks were more expensive than the food!! Most of us ordered goulash soup, which was very small. It tasted ok. My year old had the dinosaur shaped chicken nougats (there was very little else on the children's menu, believe me), and they were just ok. Waitress not warm or friendly at all. I totally get that she may not have spoken English, as not a lot do in Bavaria, but no effort at all. I would not recommend this restaurant
