Cafe Franziskus - Oberstdorf

Beautiful, cozy. the staff is very helpful and well maintained. cake and coffee wonderful and magically delicious.

This caffe is a traditional caffe! previous comments to this caffe should they renovate it. we are the saying that it would be this charm of but I would advise the management to the music “Pan Flute” of...that, that plays day in and day out! because this music is completely annoying and many guests complain about the same music every year: “Since years! (at least we have a gast said)! the quality of the cake is amazing, but I would like to inform the administration to check how they serve a traditional Bavarian apfelstrudel with vanilla sauce (custard)! to serve a liquid product on a flat plate is not the best! the plate was also almost the same size as the strudel (meaning small) the custard was cold and the strudel was hot. the tee was served in a very nice tea pot. the employees urgently need a little more motivation for their jobs and maybe change the music would be the key! since we certainly do not visit this wonderful caffe until the music has changed. in the future we will call in advance to ask if the “Pan Flute” plays. if yes, they have lost another customer to a competitors!

Wir sind jedes Jahr einige Male im Franziskus und lieben die köstlichen Torten welche wir wirklich empfehlen können, auch der Kaffee ist aussergewöhnlich gut.Heute haben wir das erste mal Flammkuchen dort gegessen und haben beide Magenprobleme bekommen weswegen wir leider einen Punkt abziehen müssen.Ich vermute das mit Glutamat gearbeitet wurde, zukünftig werden wir uns auf Torte beschränken.

Das Lokal spricht mit seinem Design eher die ältere Generation an. Jedoch kann man hier guten Kuchen und Mehlspeisen zu sich nehmen. Preise ok.
