Reviews - The Feve
Reviews summary
The Feve in Oberlin is a popular spot that attracts both vegans and non-vegans alike. While the menu has some vegan options, many dishes are covered in cheese and bacon, limiting choices. The atmosphere is lively, with live music upstairs, but some find the food bland. For those looking for a more vegan-friendly experience, the brunch menu occasionally offers plant-based options. Overall, The Feve offers tasty food and great service, making it a top choice for many visitors.

Solid college town restaurant. Good craft beer choices, fun atmosphere. The burgers were very good, and the tater tots were excellent! Fun and tasty mocktails, too!
Really quaint college place right on the square... or close enough. Came in for breakfast and the atmosphere is very friendly. Coffee and chai was great
Small restaurant on Oberlin Main Street. We arrived at 10:30 on a Sunday. It was busy, but we got seated immediately and drinks ordered. They have a long curving bar with about 15 tables. Food was delicious and the service was friendly. They have one bathroom (with a line). Although we were seated quickly. The actual food service is very slow. My only real dislike were the paper straws.
My second time here. Both visits have been enjoyable. The tater tots do not disappoint! Great service and well prepared foods.
When I walked in, I was a little confused if they were open or not. However, I was pleased with my decision to stay. The atmosphere is a warm yet modern style. Very comfortable to just relax and enjoy your food and a drink for a while. The wait staff is very kind and willing to help you with your questions. They dont pretend (or don't seem to pretend) to be anything but who they are. To me, that is as important as the atmosphere. There is a bartender that is on the larger side (no offense to him) he was amazing. He makes great cocktails, and He really knows what he is talking about when it comes to the beers they have on tap. He also helped me figure out a sauce that would go well with their portobello mushroom sandwich. The food was beautiful and well portioned. It was as delicious as it looked on the plate. I recommend giving this place a try.

They used to have a wonderful homemade vegan burger now all they have is one of the major brand beef flavored burgers.
Brunch menu changes monthly and they USUALLY have at least 1 or 2 fully plant based items. If not, they have made me one of their vegan burgers (always on their regular menu) while my friends ate from the brunch menu. Vegan ****** Mary's, if you don't have the cheese/meat skewers added. The Feve is the most popular spot in Oberlin, so vegans around here have to go with friends a lot. It gets boring pretty quickly. If you’re in the mood for fried food, it’s fine, but it’s hard to get a meal with a substantial amount of vegetables. They will replace meat with tofu on many items, but almost everything on the menu is covered in cheese and bacon. The popular weekend brunch menu never has vegan options except a side of oatmeal) so I’ve never gotten to get Feve brunch with friends :

My wife and I visited this restaurant last Saturday. We tried the Thai Peanut Chicken Wrap and Cuban sandwich, both of which were delicious! I was pleased to see that Pita chips with fresh Hummus were offered as a side option. We sat at the bar and received excellent service. As a sports fan, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of televisions airing college football games on a Saturday. However, the atmosphere was lively and filled with conversation, which was refreshing. We definitely plan on returning in the future!

I love The Feve! It offers the best food and service in the city. We celebrated a double birthday party here and they even went out of their way to pick up a cake, since they don't offer dessert. The Feve is top-notch! Definitely give them a try - you won't be disappointed.
Always a great time, along with absolutely excellent service, drinks and food. A beautiful atmosphere, decorated with walls with students/local art. Such an amazing, friendly, outgoing staff. It's a must if you're in town. You will not be disappointed!
I decided to take a rainy day adventure to this cute bar in Oberlin for the brunch I hear sooooo much about. I sat at the bar and was greeted by the lovely Charlotte. In no time I was drinking a Mimosa and enjoying the view. I swear it wasn't more than 10 minutes before I had my food in front of me so I dived right in, face first. The service from Charlotte was exquisite and the drinks were too. I highly recommend.
