Giving the chance for all of the dishes to shine, it encompasses the sort of an experience which could be described only as a morning to evening trip through the surrounding landscape. The choice of wine pairing is up to the guest, I did not opt for it due to the fact that I am not an avid wine consumer. The staff is rather attentive, communicative, patient and well prepared. Bravo! Ana Ros was one of the chefs that I truly fell in love with when I watched her story on Chef’s Table. Hisa Franko is an amazing restaurant located in Slovenia. I was here for the first time, but definitely not the last. It is really hard to find a place that is filled with such love and passion by these amazing waiters and chefs that, in a way, it is really hard to comment. From the beginning to the end, you are treated like you are at your grandparents' house. Each detail was spotted. Can you imagine that I am left-handed and they modify the whole set-up on the table according to me? This has never happened to me before, and I would really like to show my appreciation to the waiters that have been with us this evening. We were checked out during the evening by the manager to see if everything was fine, and I was not able to find the perfect words to explain to him how impressed I am. We were also lucky that some of the chefs from the kitchen came out and explained some plates to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Because of you, we will definitely come back to your restaurant soon. It is really not so easy to find a place and see so many young, motivated, passionate, and professional people. Keep it up!
Just wow! Visited Hiša Franco for their tasting menu a truly wonderful experience. We also got to visit the kitchens at the end of the sitting and chat to chefs cooks a really lovely touch!
We booked the New Year's dinner in Hisa Franko only to have it cancelled mid November. Really not professional. Our family is really is disapointed
