Lord I have never seen plates of food like that in my life. I got what I was told was a normal breakfast with cafe de olla. The coffee came with a fantastic pan dulce ... then a plate of bread seasoned and fried lightly .. then some cheese and jam ... then the breakfast... WOW... home made sausages y huevos revueltos... there had to be 6 eggs on my plate .. with fries ... I never ever ever leave food on my plate that... View all feedback.

The coffee came with a fantastic pan dulce ... then a plate of bread seasoned and fried lightly .. then some cheese and jam ... then the breakfast... WOW... home made sausages y huevos revueltos... there had to be 6 eggs on my plate .. with fries ... I never ever ever leave food on my plate that I have paid for... but this time I had to or explode !! A friend had a Traditional Plato de Salchichas... WOW.. he and a friend shared the plate and they still had food left over.. AND these are two big puppies !! Whatever you do STOP at the Tavern of the Little Dwarves (pixies?? INCREDIBLE place.. A RARE FIND for sure...
Exelente servicio y deliciosos platillos. Es increíble encontrar un restaurant así en las montañas de Oaxaca . Si van a San José del Pacifico es una visita obligada!
La comida es buenísima, 100% recomendable. Sin duda una parada obligada si vas a San José del Pacífico.

La Taberna has amazing food!! Who would imagine that one would have an intimate atmosphere with fabulous Italian selections as well as other menu items that would rival gourmet restaurants in large cities. Davide and Heriberto provide a wonderful setting for a delicious meal. Enjoy!
