Konnichiwa Sushi Bar

The sushi was terrible.there was cream cheese in every roll and it was overall disgusting.i also ordered some miso soup witch was bland and simply awful.the karage was fried in the most bizarre way possible , in witch it felt like eating a sponge.

I recently visited Konichiwa with my family for dinner. They have a very good quality of food. The fish is very fresh and the plating was phenomenal! The staff was very nice and the food was very delicious!

The food and entertainment value was pretty sub par and the service certainly did not improve on that note. Waiting 20 minutes for a beer anywhere in Huatulco is not acceptable. I just can not recommend you try this place out, as you will be disappointed. Layout of the place is nice, but it was a pricey wasted evening.

Service was extremely slow. Took about 15 minutes to get 2 beer a wine and a calpis. Had sushi’s and teppanyaki. The sushi rice was horrendous, they need to consult with a Japanese person on how to make sushi rice and their sushi will improve ten fold. Our chef, wasn’t very exciting. Asked him to make a volcano but not even close to comparable to other teppanyaki places. Overall a huge quantity of food, but definitely not quality. My wife is Japanese and she blatantly said, most Japanese wold be offended if this place, they need to get serious if they are going to try to push Japanese cuisine in Huatulco.

Having been rather hungry we ordered quite a lot from throughout the menu. From the noodle soup to the sushi rolls to the teryaki sticks. Everything tasted bland and rather awful. Even though we were very hungry we left almost all the food to be taken back as it was simply so bad.
