Best Kept Secret. We happened upon this restaurant because of a coupon in the Entertainment Guide and were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is of an Irish/Scottish local pub with some tables off to the side for quieter dining. The food was great. Used to really love the place before they renovated it. Absolutely no idea what they were thinking. Since Rino Vetrone and his family have taken over The Stout Monk, they have changed its ambiance, food, drinks selection and turned this place into a sporty bar, classy lounge. No doubt, its on its way to being an absolute success! Did I mention that I have decided when not on tour to play here twice a month. Yes the rumor is true. Cheers Anthony Tullo

Nice pub. My boyfriend and I have been here a couple times, always satisfied with the food. Ordered the salmon salad which was great. My favourite day is Tuesday because all their appetizers are 6$!! Have tried the jalapeno poppers, spinach dip, mushroom ravioli, lamb sliders, quesadilla... all very good.
Great food, great service and very consistent. Nachos, wings and burgers are top tier as far as pubs go. Place is well rub and the head chef is very great. Monthly specials keep the menu fresh and let you know you're getting real food here and not pre cooked heated up trash. Great oakvle pub
