My visit to this restaurant started with a curiosity to see the beautiful dishes being enjoyed on the terrace, but ended up becoming a regular who always orders fresh watermelon juice and mango coconut sago. Today, feeling a bit adventurous, I decided to try the recommended kung pao chicken with steamed rice. When I learned that the bao buns were freshly handmade, I knew I had to try them. The crispy bottom and flavorful filling were a magical combination. I am grateful to have this restaurant in our beautiful Oakville. The portions are generous, the staff is always on point, and it feels great to be recognized by name when I return.
I had my first dinner experience at a Shanghai restaurant last night. The food we ordered was well-prepared and incredibly tasty. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. We will definitely be returning! I highly recommend this place!
I highly recommend this restaurant for its authentic Shanghai dishes that transport me to the banks of the Huangpu River. The service is also excellent.
The kokosnuss curry salmon was one of the best dishes I had in any restaurant. the salmon was perfectly cooked! tie outside, moist on the inside and a perfect medium. the begleitbok choy was exceptional and I would have eaten a plate of it. only this court made the visit worth. I can't stop fleing about it! also the hardened lamb beans were hot and tasty. the rest of our experience was not so great. our mapo tofu was discarded in a few minutes and no one came with the rice we ordered, or something for almost 15 minutes. the wrong dumps were discarded, then taken away and the manager decided to scream out loud on our server for the mistake at our table. the wrappers of the chicken and garne steering dumplings were hard and hard. the mapo tofu missing taste. the service was scarce, slow and usually absent.
Knowledgeable and Inviting staff.Traditional Shanghai cuisine.Fully stocked bar with a great signature cocktail.10/10 will go again!
