What User doesn't like about Ricarda's Oakville:
very disappointed by service and food quality. Previous visits were good, but that was terrible. eating was sloppy, under the temperature and extremely slow, although only one of two tables at lunchtime. risotto court was a practical sweat View all feedback.
The food and service were great at Ricarda's. All my experiences at Ricarda's have been very good. The only issue we had this time was the noisy family beside us, it was father's day and this family was celebrating a birthday and fathers day at the same time...kids and adults were noisy. Ricarda's should not have seated anyone near this group.
This was my 5th or 6th visit since it changed from a long term Oakville restaurant. I’ve been at lunch and dinner. I build my own salad and it’s usually awesome, but this was a bit disappointing. I got about a 1/3 of an avocado, which I think I had to pay $8 for. I wish I’d checked my bill properly but we were a group of 8 and I was distracted as we were leaving as my bill was $26 and I had a salad and water, so I think I was overcharged. The service was pretty slow, we had to ask for water top ups 3 or 4 times, but there was only one server outside so that’s not her fault. I will go back but I’ll make sure to complain on site next time and certainly check my bill properly. But it’s a great spot and a large patio. The others I was with mainly had the lamb burger which they said was lovely, and I had some fries from them and they were gorgeous!
Terrible restaurant is not here, it is nothing like downtown location. Very slow to get a glass of water and twenty minutes after arrival, we had to order the food and drinks together as no one disturbed to visit our table, although there are about 10 others in the restaurant. The manager sat on a table with friends/customers? for fifteen minutes in a simple look and has no attention to what happened. After we waited almost an hour for our food to arrive, we obviously left that it was almost twice finished. The kitchen is open and we could see three chefs, one on his phone and eat ten minutes. The manager did not even plan to come until we asked the waitress if we could talk to her, she came with an attitude and went with a terrible customer service and nobody cares about your experience, it is an inconvenience to be there for you. It is also very frightened and cold. Too much trouble and a hundred better options for 3 burgers!
We were informed about price at least 4 times. Price of Ice cream, price of buffet , price of toronto Ricardas etc and we didnt asked for any of this prices. Play room was improvised, not realky a play room. Food is good, service needs improvement.
Enjoyed the food and very nice staff music was a little too loud
