Was Meghan Kemmer at Maro's a mag?
I was pleasantly surprised to see all vegan options in this omni restaurant. it is a lively place, but has a good attentive service. they can choose to sit on a common farm type table if they want. many salads and main halls are vegan, and eating is delicious! View all feedback.

What Celina Särkkä dislikes about Maro's:
eating is still good, but it's not as good as before. portions are definitiw smaller. the service is bad. they often don't get the phone, or someone is on the phone for a long time. now they have in low lung seat with cushions that look dirty, and are not suitable to be outside. we will miss it in the summer to eat out there, but I will not sit in the kisses, the bedbugs (yes, in oakville, flee etc.) View all feedback.

The food here is wonderful, and in good quantities. My favourite is "Lunch in Beirut". I agree with other reviews here that the service is only so-so and lately they seem to be short-staffed. The wait for food is not overly long though. The ambiance of the restaurant is also so-so - very noisy, poor acoustics, and uncomfortable seating. But the food makes the experience worth it. Try the fried cauliflower!

I have no clue why people love this place to death. Found this restaurant on TripAdvisor and went to it because the rating says "#1 in Oakville". It's a relatively small and busy place, but they seemed to be short on staff. It's very difficult to call a service, because the servers are nowhere to be found or looked overwhelmed. We ordered 5 dishes on their signature Manu(straight down the top fours plus a half portion signature grilled chicken). The first four dishes arrived within normal time but were tasteless, if the restaurant wasn't rated #1 in Oakville then I wouldn't have a problem about its taste, the food was really just average. The fifth dish didn't come even 20 minutes after the first four so we kindly asked one of the staff whether it was coming or not,and we were told the server forgot about the order. We didn't blame on our server girl because we knew it happens with a smile on the face. 20 minutes later, a chicken with more than half of its surface burnt was put on our table, I ignored the ugly look and proceeded to eat, meat was very dry, tasteless. I don't want to say a $10 fast food half chicken dinner taste better than this. Funny part came in when the manager who also could be the chef told us because they were rushing food for us so burnt chicken with dry and tasteless meat were the outcome. This logic seemed to work out for him as an excuse but sorry my friend, it didn't work out for me. I kindly asked them to take back the dish and mentioned I didn't need a refund, but as advice I told them in the future, never serve a burnt dish to customers. At the end of the day I still tip our waitress 15% regardless of the unpleasant experience. (I don't have the photo of the chicken because as soon as I saw the burnt part it killed the desire to take a photo)

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences I had during my time in the Greater Toronto Area. My decision to visit this place was based on...

This restaurant is one of our go-to spots for dining out. The food is amazing, the portions are just right, and the service is always top-notch. We highly recommend ordering sharing plates so you can taste a variety of dishes.
