La Dolce Vita Oakville

What can I say about a restaurant with hundreds of reviews and an average rating close to 5 stars? Why isn't there a higher rating available? I would have easily given them more stars. First of all, despite being a vegan place, it is not loud. Many customers may not even realize that it is a vegan restaurant. The gelatos are delicious, so much so that you cannot even tell they are vegan. Our group of five tried 10 different flavors and almost all of them were excellent. We also tried two affogatos, which were fantastic - not just the gelatos, but the espresso as well. Some of our favorite flavors were the Canadian maple whisky, coffee, biscotti, Niagara glazed pear, Nutella, pistachio, and chocolate. We also picked out desserts for the next day, such as butter pecan, maple butter, and lemon balm. While the fillings were excellent, the crusts were just okay. The lotus Biscoff, Nutella, and Hello Dolly bars were standout selections. It was difficult to choose a favorite among the three. Each member of our group was convinced that their choice was the best, so we all had to sample each other's desserts.

I am very impressed that this restaurant is fully vegan! They offer a wide variety of flavors that go beyond just sorbet. I highly recommend it!

The restaurant offers a variety of unique flavors, but some don't taste as good as they sound. However, some flavors are worth trying. They also have vegan options available. The main downside is that the portions are small and the prices are high, which may deter me from returning frequently. Overall, it's a decent spot to grab some ice cream.

This restaurant is amazing. We were in the downtown area and walked across the bridge to reach it. We visited in June and there was a long line, but it was definitely worth the wait. The food was incredibly fresh and refreshing. The outdoor seating was lovely and there was also seating inside and along the window for people-watching. I would definitely make a special trip to visit this restaurant again.
