While some enjoyed the tasty appetizers, excellent service, and cozy ambiance, others found the food disappointing, especially the paella. The restaurant's Spanish tapas concept left some patrons wanting more modern flair, while others appreciated the personalized service and wide beer selection. Despite inconsistencies, dishes like curried chicken, meatballs, and empanadas received high praise. Overall, Cork's seems to cater well to those seeking a casual, intimate dining experience with a varied menu and attentive staff.
This small place has a lot of ambiente, a great menu and many more reasons to make it a rewarding stop on their foodie tour. the included tapas or small plates make the exchange easy and delicious. we had a few new offers, including the pfarrer, wobble and carrotenbahjis with chutney and aioli, who were a hit. the warm burrata with caramelized wobble was also very tasty. there are several tasty snacks to choose from, so a little something for everyone. a very pleasant place to tempt the taste buds.
Visit the family. excellent service. great paella. not impressed by the charcuteria plate and the hunch needs improvement. but I could be back for the paella.
Shared a beautiful seafood paella with a few friends. charming attentive service, great wine list and simply a beautiful evening in a large restaurant.
Hidden away on Lakeshore is a pretty little restaurant serving a good selection of Spanish style tapas, with a south American influence. 4 dishes between 3 of us was more than enough for starters followed by an excellent meat and seafood paella, all washed down...with a very alcoholic sangria. Having visited Spain many times, I would say that this is as close as you can get to an authentic Spanish food experience. Was not very busy on a Thursday lunchtime, so service was very good and the food was cooked to order. Nice ambience with subtle music in the background and local art hanging on the walls.
Tucked just of Lakeshore rd Corks is easy to miss but worth casting your eyes to, neat inside and out side dinning areas, staff were OK and polite, could not fault the level of service, chose the Paella for dinner, very good, rice a little...dry but good flavour and more a dish for two so sadly i could not finish it. Only negative was drink price $7 CAD for a small beer and $7 CSD for a bottle of water
