We enjoyed the nacho appetizer that we shared. It is a very large portion and could be enough for four to share. However, both of our meals were less than enticing. I took one bite of the Mac and Cheese and could not take another one. My husband ordered the mushroom risotto and ate about half. He didn’t even want to take the rest home. We asked about the soup of the day and we’re told it’s too hot outside so no one would be ordering it, but my husband’s meal was served so hot he could barely eat it. The staff did not once ask us how our meals were. Most restaurants, if they see you are not eating will ask if there is a problem. Some will even offer to bring you something else. It seemed like we were deliberately being ignored and the takeaway is that neither of us enjoyed the food and the service was truly lacking. It is also expensive, especially because of the integrated tips. I do not recommend and we will certainly not return.

Update: Tried this restaurant several times since our first visit. It’s close to where my parents live so I’d really like to like it. However their savoury food is always meh. Tried the butter tofu which had good flavour but the rice wasn’t cooked and it only came with 5 pieces of tofu. Definitely don’t order through DoorDash either. Food is always cold. We do really like their cake though and have ordered a couple times for big family birthdays. It’s super expensive but very delicious. You can definitely order down a size. A cake that’s advertised for 6-8 people will easily feed 10 We went for brunch and got take out for later. My husband got the eggs Benedict and I got pancakes. Pancakes are definitely of the “healthy” variety and not my fav. My husband liked his. got the Alfredo and the Mac n cheese to go. Both were pretty good. I’d like to try their desserts but not sure I’d get these meals again. Updated from previous review on 2022-05-26

Really nice restaurant with a good menu. I’d definitely go back. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because the food was a bit too oily for my taste. The soup came with fried bread and the salad (green goddess) had a really oily dressing. In hindsight I should have asked for the dressing on the side. But overall a great place with friendly serving staff and a nice vibe.

I was really hyped aboyt the place since I saw good reviews. But in turns out to be really bad. The food was bad, I called risoto (very salty) and nachos (fine). The hibiscus lemonade was sour and the dream something was just like water with a bit of mango and coconut flavor. And I got charged for almost like 100 bucks.
