We shared their tacos (we had steak) since you get two. They applied us to customize each taco to our specific tastes (I like spicy, my wife likes medium to mild). Meat was tender and juicy. Taco shells were soft and fresh. Topping were all tasty and fresh. Pricing seemed high but when we shared we got great value. I'm pretty sure its under new management, and with that a lot of "cost cutting" has occurred. Contents are less in their burritos/fajitas, lettuce quality is poor (used to be romaine, now is a rusty iceberg), less meat due to smaller meat portion. Decided to go for lunch with the family on boxing day. Walked in and the staff was ignoring my family and the 2 people in line in front of us. There were 4 staff members, 2 were clearly trying to solve a problem with their cash register and that is understandable but the other 2 were just standing around. I asked the people in front of me if they were just waiting for their order if they had ordered yet and they mentioned that they had been waiting to order for a while. The older gentleman on staff muttered something under his breath (obviously in response to my conversation with the other customers) and that was it for me. I left at that point and will not be back.
Nice visit, the staff was helpful and the food good. This was my first visit so I didn't have much in the way of expectations. If you're looking for a quick burrito at a reasonable price this is your place.
Didn't know much of the restaurant and left my decision to the staff to help me out. Wasn't disappointed with the Chicken. Had a great fresh flavour with the toppings. Pleasant surprise.
This place makes great burritos. My only complaint is that they are stingy with the guacamole, even if I ask for extra at the cash and pay for extra. Even so, I will keep coming back because the food is very good!
Yes, I like Chipotle, so don't hate, but it's so difficult to get a good burrito in Canada. So my go to for a burrito is Chorizo (they have several locations) and I really love their tomatillo Salsa Verde. I love the Salsa Verde to the point that I bring home a "medium" container back home with me to have with chips at my leisure. Give them a try, the shrimp and beef burritos are quite good, just be ready to spend a bit longer waiting for your food as they grill each meat when ordered, which is never a bad thing.
